Details

Research into the potential development and economic impact of the uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) and advanced air mobility (AAM) sectors. It created a series of scenarios to: 

  • identify the barriers that affect both sectors 
  • explore areas of uncertainty that could be faced
  • assess the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities for the UK

This research also estimated the economic impact of the sectors and the potential for future of flight technologies to contribute to the UK economy. 

The report was produced by Frazer-Nash Consultancy on behalf of the Department for Transport and the Government Office for Science.
