Thank you for your communication to the MHRA in relation to a Freedom of Information request for:

  1. The planned Full Time Equivalent (FTE) (and organograms)  for Inspectors as of: A.01 October 2021 B.28 February 2022 C.01 April 2022.

2.The number of FTE Inspectors who have left the MHRA between November 2021 and March 2022.

3.The number of replacement Inspectors sourced to fill the recently vacated roles (November 2021 and March 2022).

4.The impact on Inspections (length/frequency/requests).

5.The MHRAs Capacity plan.

1.The planned Full Time Equivalent (FTE) (and organograms) for Inspectors as of:

A.01 October 2021 -FTE 69 B.28 February 2022 – FTE 54 C.01 April 2022 – FTE 54

2.The number of FTE Inspectors who have left the MHRA between November 2021 and March 2022.

3.The number of replacement Inspectors sourced to fill the recently vacated roles (November 2021 and March 2022). – 4 FTE

4.There has been a short term impact between Nov 21 and March 22 on the number of inspections that is being managed through our risk based approach, which includes ensuring that where appropriate some inspections are shorter focussed only on the highest risk areas (this was already in place as standard prior to Nov 21).  We currently have active recruitment campaigns for additional inspectors.

5.The MHRAs Capacity plan.
