Foster with North East was the Department for Education’s pathfinder programme for the regionalisation of foster carer recruitment.

The interim and year 3 evaluation reports explore:

• hub set-up and implementation, including facilitators and barriers to delivery
• staff and foster carers’ experiences of the Hub
• progress towards intended outcomes

Findings are based on evidence gathered from Foster with North East Hub and local authority staff, prospective and approved foster carers, Foster with North East Hub monitoring data, and Ofsted data.
