Former Independent Living Fund Grant 2022 to 2023
Published 10 March 2022
Applies to England
Following the closure of the Independent Living Fund (ILF) in June 2015, the government agreed to continue funding pre-existing ILF arrangements until the end of 2019 to 2020, through the former ILF recipient grant. The grant continued to be paid in 2021 to 2022.
On 8 March 2022, the government confirmed that the former ILF recipient grant will continue to be paid to local authorities in 2022 to 2023. The total value of the grant in 2022 to 2023 will be maintained at the 2021 to 2022 value of £160.6 million, with the same approach to individual local authority allocations.
Confirmation of the grant allocations for 2022 to 2023 is provided below.
