The Department for Culture, Media and Sport received the following request for information which we responded to under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 :
“Does the GAC have a list of all currently displayed artworks in the FCDO? Not just those that have come and gone in that time period?”
Our response
This information is exempt from disclosure under section 21(1) of the Act. Section 21(1) of the Act considers information exempt if it is ‘reasonably accessible to the applicant by other means’. The information you have requested is already accessible to the public on the Government Art Collection website.
