Details

We have received a request for any comments made by NHS England and/or NHS Brent Clinical Commissioning Group to NHS Improvement about the recent re-tendering of the APMS contract for the provision of GP services from Sudbury Primary Care Centre.

The requester also asks for a letter sent by NHS England to Barry Gardiner MP.

Correction - NHS Improvement wishes to correct the following statement at page 4 of the Decision Letter:

It appears to be public knowledge that concerns about Sudbury Primary Care Centre have been raised with NHS Improvement, and, therefore, there is little prejudice in confirming that NHS Improvement has contacted the relevant commissioners.

This should read:

It appears to be public knowledge that concerns have been raised with NHS Improvement in connection with the tendering process undertaken by NHS England and Brent Clinical Commissioning Group for the provision of primary medical services at Sudbury Primary Care Centre and, therefore, there is little prejudice in confirming that NHS Improvement has contacted the relevant commissioners.

22 June 2016

NHS Improvement has decided to confirm that it holds the information requested and has decided to withhold that information under the exemption at 31(1)(g) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
