Details

The requests were for emails between Jim Mackey and senior officials at Department of Health (DH) or the NHS Confederation, including NHS Employers, in the 3 months prior to the request. This included emails sent to/from Jim Mackey using his email address at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where those emails were held on behalf of Monitor.

NHS Improvement has decided to release some emails, but to withheld others – in particular because disclosure would prejudice the effective conduct of public affairs.
