Details

FOI 0355-15 states that between 1 January and 31 December 2014, 30 concerns were raised about issues including alleged fraud in procurement, possible misuse of public funds and possible theft. All were investigated, appropriate action taken, including disciplinary procedures and dismissal where appropriate. Disclosure of official information without authorisation (leaks) are regarded as breaches of the Civil Service code of conduct. The relevant extract from Diplomatic Services Regulations is released. Some information is withheld under section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000
