FOI ref 0252-15 explains that we are unable to provide the exact number of British nationals who have reported to our diplomatic mission in Colombo or to the FCO in London that they were a victim of robbery or attempted robbery as we do not record cases under a specific robbery category. However, under ‘assault-general’ category there were 15 cases. A link is given to statistics on the gov.uk website for each of our diplomatic missions overseas
