The requester asked for all NHS Improvement’s:

• internal correspondence on the proposed long term partnership between Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
• correspondence between NHS Improvement and the Department of Health
• correspondence with the trusts

The requester also asked for information on the costs incurred by the trusts and by NHS Improvement in relation to the proposed long term partnership between the trusts.

NHS Improvement held the information. It released the information in relation to costs, but withheld the correspondence on the grounds that complying with the request in that respect would exceed the appropriate cost limit under section 12 of the FOI Act.
