This request asked for the number of arbitration referrals under the NHS contract dispute resolution procedure in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 financial years. The request asked for the information to be broken down by relevant parties, issue, date and result.

NHS Improvement held this information and decided to release the numbers of referrals, but withheld the details of individual cases.
