The request was for a copy of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust’s and Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s final summary plans and presentations to the Transaction Board, minutes of the Transaction Board meetings and meetings attended by NHS Improvement in relation to the award of the Liverpool community health services contract by Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group in 2016.

NHS Improvement held some of the requested information and decided to withhold the information it held on the basis of the exemptions in sections 40, 41 and 43 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
