In Monitor’s report ‘Performance of the foundation trust sector 3 months ended 30 June 2015’ it stated that the foundation trust sector ended the first 3 months of the financial year 2015/16 with a £445 million net deficit.

This request was for:

  • a breakdown of the £445 million figure by foundation trust
  • the planned deficit position for each foundation trust
  • the planned position for each acute foundation trust going forward
  • any of the above in relation to NHS trusts

The requestor made a further request for foundation trusts’ Q2 results for 2015/2016.
