This request was for information on the board diversity of NHS foundation trusts. The request asked for the data to be broken down by:

  • trust
  • number of people on each board
  • number of female board members
  • number of female executive directors
  • number of board members from ethnic minority backgrounds
  • number of board members from ethnic minority backgrounds who are also executive directors

NHS Improvement held some of the information. It withheld the information under section 21 as this was reasonably accessible by other means.
