This request asked for information on the % cost of service to Trust Operating expenditure of the 32 Hospitals that participated in the Carter Review of Operational Productivity 2016.

This request also asked which Pathology budget items were included and excluded from the calculation of the % cost of service to Trust Operating expenditure.

NHS Improvement held some of the information requested and decided to disclose the information it held. It also included information from the Department of Health in the reply.
