Details of the application

FM Green has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from an unmarked drain between reaches at National Grid Reference (NGR) SO 55873 25730 to SO 55920 25531.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 80 cubic metres an hour
  • 1,920 cubic metres a day
  • 25,000 cubic metres a year
  • between November and March inclusive in each year.

The water will be used for Spray irrigation storage.

The second application is for a full licence to abstract water from an existing drainage ditch marked at NGR SO 54690 25043.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 60 cubic metres an hour
  • 1,440 cubic metres a day
  • 20,000 cubic metres a year
  • between November and March inclusive in each year.
