Details

On 29 March 2018, the Fishguard and Rosslare Railways and Harbours Company made a formal application to the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) under section 14 of the Harbours Act 1964 for a Harbour Revision Order to construct a new linkspan bridge. The proposed project will involve the construction of a new linkspan to replace an existing linkspan currently at the project location.

The applicant indicated on 6 November 2024 that they no longer wanted to pursue the application for a Harbour Revision Order. The MMO wrote to the applicant on 20 November 2024 to say that unless they heard contrary from the applicants by 4 December 2024, the MMO would consider the application withdrawn. The applicant responded on 2 December 2024 to say they were content for the MMO to consider the application withdrawn.
