This independent review, led by Sir John Kingman, will help government to assess the FRC’s governance, impact and powers, to ensure they are fit for the future.

The review aims to make the FRC the best in class for corporate governance and transparency, while helping it fulfil its role of safeguarding the UK’s leading business environment.

The Independent Reviewer is supported by an Advisory Group, the role of which is to advise, scrutinise and challenge.

See the call for evidence requesting views on the purpose and function of the FRC, its impact, effectiveness and powers.
