Details

This is a response to the committee’s report, which was published on 3 July 2014. It lays out the recommendations of the committee’s report and provides detailed responses from the government.

Additionally, the response covers the announcements made at the Girls Summit of July 2014, where the government announced a focus on improving the law enforcement response to FGM, supporting frontline professionals and working with communities to prevent abuse.
