F.A.W. Baker’s Kingston Farms Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number 16/52/003/G/192 which authorises the abstraction of water from underground strata of Middle Jurassic at Rushy Wood Farm, Crewkerne at National Grid Reference ST 46346 11622.

The variation applied for is to increase abstraction quantities to the following amounts:

  • 8.33 cubic metres per hour

  • 200 cubic metres per day

  • 73,000 cubic metres per year
