Farm Power Hydro Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application (in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number AN/036/0015/009 which authorises the abstraction of water from the River Stour at National Grid Reference (NGR) TM 01161 34453.

The variation applied for is to change licence condition 9.8 which specifies that abstraction may only take place when the level in the River Stour immediately upstream of the abstraction point is at least 9.20 metres Above Ordnance Datum Newlyn (AODN). The proposed level change in this condition is to 9.12 metres AODN.
