Family Routes is a longitudinal study intended to track the needs, experiences and outcomes of children aged 12 to 15 leaving care on an adoption order or special guardianship order in England.
This report is part of a series and draws on in-depth interviews with 84 adoptive and special guardianship families, including 36 young people and adopted young adults.
This report examines the circumstances and experiences that impact on the well-being, health and outcomes of adoptive parents and special guardians.
