The government has developed a building safety programme to ensure fire safety in high-rise residential blocks following the Grenfell Tower fire.

This note explains the checking and testing programme for Aluminium Composite Material cladding that has been set up and is now underway, and the wider steps that are being taken to ensure safety in all relevant buildings, in the light of the early test results.
