Expenditure on mobile telephones from January to December 2013

1.The total number of mobile phones in use during 2013 was 6,693.

2.Total expenditure, including VAT, on mobile telephones and mobile data during 2013 was £535,083.13. This figure is comprised of £394,538 line rental, £88,452.79 of VAT and additional charges/credits as follows:

Please note that there is a variation of £52.92 between the overall spend figure of £535,083.13 and the sum total of the individual amounts shown above. Any discrepancy in data results from the inclusion of VAT which isn’t charged for device usage outside of the EU. Vodafone have not split out the cost of this usage in the overall totals provided as they are currently unable to retrieve data on where the calls where placed.
