The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 from E and J.W. Glendinning Limited.

  • Effluent type: Trade effluent consisting of site drainage
  • Volume: Dependent on rainfall and/or snow melt

This application is to vary the permit to allow the use of coagulant and flocculant as required to assist treatment of the effluent by reducing the level of suspended solids.

Normally the Environment Agency must put any comments they receive on the public register. Tell the Environment Agency if you don’t want your comments to be public. The Environment Agency must decide whether to grant or refuse the application. If they grant it, they must decide what conditions to include in the permit.
