Operation Pitting Afghans or third country nationals will be given the opportunity to discuss their voluntary return options before any enforcement action is taken by the Home Office. This includes if they have:

  • continued to remain in the UK without leave to remain
  • not made arrangements to return
  • not submitted a claim or application for leave to remain to the Home Office

Individuals can apply for assistance to return home at any time on GOV.UK.
