Apprentices now have until 9am on Monday 26 February to register their attendance using the link: graduation@livegroup.co.uk.

Employers and providers can also use the link to register their interest in attending the ceremonies being held in London, Duxford, Brighton, Durham, Leeds, Derby and Weston Pier on Monday 5 and Friday 9 March, during National Apprenticeship Week.

Non levy apprenticeship procured growth requests

Information

Shortly, we will be publishing guidance on our GOV.UK page on how you can request increases to your non levy apprenticeship procured contract value for the funding year 2017 to 2018 and 2018 to 2019.

Once the guidance has been published, providers will have until 5.00pm on Tuesday 6 March to submit their requests.

For further information or related queries, please contact your provider manager.

Review of apprenticeship funding bands

Information

We are reviewing the effectiveness of the current funding band structure and are considering changes to incentivise negotiation and drive better value for money.

Any new structure would apply to new starts from August 2018. The maximum funding band will remain at £27,000. We will confirm any changes in Spring 2018.

If we do change the funding band structure, we will work with the Institute for Apprenticeships to ensure that any new standards that are approved for delivery are allocated to both one of the 15 current funding bands and to a new, post-August funding band.

We welcome any views on these changes. Please email Dfe.fundingbands@education.gov.uk.

You can find further information on GOV.UK.
