Who should read
All ESF Beneficiary Organisations (both Direct Bid and CFO), the Greater London Authority and the ESF Managing Authority (MA).
Purpose
To notify Grant Recipients of changes to the eligibility of participant costs.
Background
The Managing Authority has reviewed the guidance relating to the eligibility of participant costs. In particular, the cost of small items of equipment purchased for participants. The limit of £1000 per item has been increased to £1,500 following increased costs in the market. In addition, the associated cost of items purchased to remove barriers for participants with disabilities will be considered eligible. Grant Recipients are encouraged to read the full guidance to ensure expenditure being submitted within their claims remains eligible for inclusion.
Effective for all claims submitted in 2023, this included Q4 2022.
