The English Language Requirements provision in Scotland and Wales is for claimants who are disadvantaged in the labour market by their standard of English speaking and listening skills.

  1. Revised annex 6 (July 2015).
  2. Revised provider guidance (version 1.6), annexes 1b, 2b and 6 (all June 2015) and new annexes 14 (version 1) and 15 (version 1.1). Provision has been extended to include new claimant groups: Employment and Support Allowance (WRAG) and Income Support (Lone Parents with a youngest child over 3 years of age).
  3. Revised English Language Requirements guidance (version 1.3) and annexes – provision now includes Universal Credit claimants.
