This guidance document provides key information on the English indices of deprivation 2010.

The purpose of the English indices of deprivation is to identify small areas of England which are experiencing multiple aspects of deprivation. The 2010 statistics replace the indices of deprivation 2007 as the official measure of deprivation in England.
