Details
The 9 mayoral combined authorities in England’s city regions and the Greater London Authority will receive funding for high-value capital regeneration projects that will drive growth and levelling up in their areas.
Each of the projects are consistent with the goals set out in areas’ devolution deals and include funding for regenerating town centres, improving local transport connectivity, and unlocking new housing, including on brownfield land.
Funding is provided for 32 projects totalling £161.2 million in the 2022-23 financial year.
