Details

This report explores the proportion of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) (including microbusinesses) in the construction products sector and how government can communicate more effectively with those businesses, particularly about planned construction product regime reform.

The report also provides insights regarding how SMEs receive information and the barriers they face to receiving policy information, as well as what government could do to engage SMEs in the sector more effectively.

The report team employed a mixed method approach combining interviews, an expert-led workshop, and a literature review.
