Details
Gloucestershire FRS, Royal Berkshire FRS, Oxfordshire FRS, Wiltshire Police, HART Team, Wilsar and Local Media, are carrying out an emergency exercise on Sunday 12 September 2021 between 10am and 3pm in the area outside Lechlade Marina above St Johns lock. During the exercise, a passenger vessel will be simulated to be in distress with multiple casualties.
We will have a patrol launch based downstream of the exercise. If you are navigating during this time you will be given directions from our officers on duty, we do not anticipate navigation to close during this exercise. We ask you not to stop navigating in the area and to continue your journey. This is to ensure the safety of both the exercise participants and other River Thames users.
