Assessment reviewing the UK and international evidence on efficient driving in private and fleet motorists, including:

  • current levels of efficient driving and potential for increase
  • motivations and barriers
  • measures to increase efficient driving (technology, communications and training)
  • connections between efficient driving and other policy areas

The assessment is intended to guide future policy development and offer direction for future research.
