1. Information: funding in 2015 to 2016 webinar recordings available

EFA recently broadcast two live Q&A sessions on funding for 2015 to 2016, the first for academies, the second for free schools, studio schools and UTCs.

Recordings of both are now available.

2. Information: post-16 funding in 2015 to 2016

EFA has written to all EFA funded post-16 providers with information about funding for students aged 16 to 19 and high needs students aged 16 to 25 in 2015 to 2016.

3. Action: providing academy trust contact information

All academy trusts must notify EFA of any change to the chair of the board of trustees, accounting officer or chief financial officer within 14 days. They must also submit the details of all members and trustees.

EFA has introduced a new online form to provide your trust’s contact information to make this more straight-forward.

There are different requirements depending on your trust’s funding agreement to notify EFA about changes to members and trustees. Please check this before completing the form.

4. Action: 16 to 19 Bursary Fund - 2013 to 2014 management information (MI) return

The 16 to 19 Bursary Fund management information return for the completed 2013 to 2014 academic year is currently open. All institutions that had access to bursary funding in 2013 to 2014 are asked to complete a return by 31 October – if they have not already done so.

The return form may be accessed either through the EFA Information Exchange or directly via GOV.UK.

Institutions are encouraged to read the brief supporting notes before completing the return, and will require their Unique Provider Identification Number (UPIN) to start the form.
