Details

The direct award franchise agreement between the Secretary of State for Transport and East Midlands Trains Limited dated 11 February 2019, and subsequent emergency measures and emergency recovery measures agreements.

This single tender direct award to East Midlands Trains Limited was announced by the Transport Minister on 12 February 2019.

This agreement replaces the previous East Midlands Trains 2015 franchise agreement franchise agreement that expired on 3 March 2019.
