We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:

The recipients, including amounts, of the East Midland’s Home Office Regional Director’s Fund by financial year from 2005/’06 to date.

We released the following information on 10 May 2011.

2007/08 - £4,150,994
2008/09 - £3,856,531
2009/10 - £100,000

The funding allocated over the years was to focus on making communities safer and reducing the harm caused by alcohol and drugs. The funds were allocated on the agreement that they would be used to support systems that facilitated effective services delivery and add value to established processes. The funds enabled Government Office for East Midlands to promote partnership working for the benfit of the region. The increase in funding for the periods 2007/’08 and 2008/’09 included the Tackling Violent Crime Programme (TVCP) projects and the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARACs) in specialist domestic violence court areas in the region.
