The standard rounding convention, consistent with other Valuation Office Agency (VOA) statistical releases has been applied to these counts in order to minimise the risk of disclosure.
It should be noted that the administrative areas reported on can change over time. For the purposes of consistency we have applied current geographical areas throughout. In addition, records for individual properties are subject to amendment throughout their existence in the list (for example where the original band valuation was challenged and amended).
These counts are an extension of the VOA’s published Council Tax: stock of properties releases, however the tables are considered to be outside the scope of official statistics since they have not been subject to the same quality assurance procedures.
