Ductile cast iron tubes and pipes from India (Anti-Dumping Duty 2338)

Following the judgement of the General Court of the EU, the Commission announced in Regulation 2019/C209/07, OJ C209, the re-opening of investigations concerning anti-dumping and countervailing measures on tubes and pipes of ductile cast iron (also known as spheroidal graphite cast iron), originating in India. This is to enable the Commission to correct the errors found by the court, in so far as it concerns Jindal Saw Ltd.

This decision takes effect on 20 June 2019.

The products are currently classified within commodity codes:

  • 7303 0010 10
  • 7303 0090 10

Interested parties may contact the Commission to make submissions or request hearings (within time limits), refer to the decision for details.

Customs authorities should await the outcome of this investigation before considering any repayment claims concerning imports from Jindal Saw Ltd (additional code C054).
