Transparency information about outside appointments or employment taken up by former members of the the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT).

This covers former staff at Senior Civil Service payband 1 (SCS1) and payband 2 (SCS2) levels. It also covers special advisers of equivalent level.

For one year from your last day of service, you should not become personally involved in lobbying the UK government on behalf of your new employer (including parent companies, subsidiaries, partners and clients).

Furthermore, as noted in your application you should make fresh applications on specific assignments as they arise.

It is advised that you continue to review the business appointment rules guidance before accepting any new appointment or employment for two years after leaving the Civil Service to ensure that there is no cause for justified public concern, criticism or misinterpretation.
