The draft ‘Code of construction practice’, contains a series of measures and standards of work to be applied by HS2 Ltd and its contractors throughout the construction period of Phase 2a of HS2. This will provide a consistent approach to the management of construction activities across local authority boundaries. The draft ‘Code of construction practice’ will evolve and will be amended as necessary following further engagement during the parliamentary process. This content has been published as part of the HS2 Phase 2a environmental statement for the route between the West Midlands and Crewe. The environmental statement was produced to accompany the HS2 Phase 2a hybrid Bill.
