Door Supervisors assisting family or close friends home after work

Published 9 November 2021

1. Request

If a door supervisor is on shift and they have family/close friends out drinking in venues close by. When the door supervisor has finished working and has taken there badge off, are they then able to give the family/close friend a lift home if they are unfit to get home by themselves?

2. Response

There is nothing which would preclude a door supervisor from providing a family member or close friend a lift home if they are unfit to get home by themselves when they have finished working.
