The domestic energy affordability support schemes were implemented from the winter of 2022 to 2023 to support households during a period of exceptional energy price rises.
The schemes in scope of this evaluation, totalling £36.3 billion in spend, are the:
- Energy Bills Support Scheme (EBSS)
- EBSS Alternative Funding (EBSS AF)
- Energy Price Guarantee (EPG)
- Alternative Fuel Payment (AFP)
- AFP Alternative Funding (AFP AF)
