Details of the application
The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Ashcourt (Lincolnshire) Limited.
The proposed variation may significantly increase the risk from waste operations.

This application is a substantial variation of the Ashcourt (Lincolnshire) Bespoke Permit for the addition of soil and aggregate washing (chemical and physical treatment), and addition of EWC Codes for washing.
There is also an increase in permitted tonnages: increasing to 75,000 tonnes of storage, with an overall increase to 535,000 tonnes per annum. (400,000 for wet processing).
No changes to the deposit for recovery or physical treatment activities have been applied for.
