This direction has now closed. A revised direction issued in February 2022 replaces it.
This statutory direction reflects the fact that North and West Northamptonshire Unitary Authorities have assumed responsibility for children’s social care from Northamptonshire County Council.
It requires the new authorities to support the work of the children’s services trust delivering children’s social care on their behalf.
This direction replaces the statutory direction issued to Northamptonshire County Council on 1 November 2020.
