This document provides the latest feedback and background information on the Direct Payment Demonstration Projects that were running in 6 areas of Great Britain from June 2012 until December 2013.

The projects tested paying Housing Benefit directly to tenants to help make sure that the right support for tenants and landlords is in place before full implementation of Universal Credit.
