Dilwyn Bryn Jones, Joyce Elizabeth Jones and Roger John Jones trading as The Trustees of Dell Farm has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number MD/054/0002/011 to obstruct or impede the flow of the Sundorne Brook at Sunderton Pool Reservoir, Uffington, Shrewsbury at National Grid Reference SJ 52652 16073.
The variation applied for is: a lowering of a section of the Sunderton Pool Reservoir reinforced concrete labyrinth overflow weir by approximately 1.46 metres to a new crest level of 56.5 metres Above Ordnance Datum (AOD) to reduce the capacity of the reservoir. An eel pass will also be constructed as part of the work.
