The privacy notice explains your rights under the Data Protection Act 2018 and the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

  1. In ‘3. Reasons and purposes for processing personal data’, we have removed a point related to making personal data available for commercial use. In ‘6. The information we process’, we have removed ‘individuals on civil registers’ and ‘members of the general populace’ from the list setting out who we process information about. We have added a new section, ‘11. Automated decision-making or profiling’.

  2. Updated '4. Why we process information' to confirm that we process information relating to consultations and calls for evidence.

  3. Updated '2. Contact our Data Protection Officer' to reflect changes in the executive agency names. Updated '5. Lawful basis for processing your personal data' to align content with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
