Details

This letter responds to a Freedom of Information request asking about money the Department for Transport (DfT) has spent on advertising. The requester specifically asks for details of spending on adverts, advertorial articles and paid placements of media content over the last 3 years. The requester also asked for further information about each advert, advertorial or paid placement including the:

  • cost
  • type of advert, advertorial article or a paid content placement
  • date of payment
  • date(s) when it appeared in the media
  • location where it appeared
  • company (or individual) that received DfT’s payment
  • subject matter of the advert or paid content
