These are the terms of reference for the Department for Transport’s (DfT’s) Group Audit and Risk Assurance Committee (GARAC).

The GARAC is a sub-committee of the DfT Board and has responsibility for oversight and scrutiny of the department’s risk management, internal controls and governance arrangements.
